  1. Great interview Gary and Christine. I have also been a subscriber to this stunning magazine for some years and plan to continue being so. I was also lucky to be able to afford to go to one of the first (if not THE first) Beating around the Bush Conventions – that one was held in Brisbane. I think that was in 2009. It was really great. However, to travel from South Africa, and then have to pay for everything with our dreadful foreign exchange rate, is a bit too much nowadays, unfortunately. The only South Africans who don’t feel the pinch as regards this event, are our teachers from South Africa who get paid in Aus $s! Keep up the great interviews. Many thanks

  2. Maureen,
Thanks for listening. Glad you enjoyed the show. I have a sense that getting to attend one Beating Around the Bush event in a lifetime is a true highlight. Yes, those exchange rates can be a real barrier. I was fortunate. The other day I bought the a print subscription to Inspirations and one of their books. The exchange rate was very much in my favor. Maybe it will turn around for you someday. Keep stitching and listening.
    Gary
