REPOST: Fiber Talk with Deb Jochim

NOTE: This is a repost of the Aug. 4, 2019 show. Due to a file uploading error, some podcast apps did not pick up the podcast. Here’s hoping this repost fixes things. Sorry for the hassle. Gary

Punch Needle & Primitive Stitcher magazine.

Our guest this week is Deb Jochim, owner and editor of Punch Needle & Primitive Stitcher magazine. This week’s show is sponsored by The Attic Needlework shop in Mesa, AZ, where samplers rule. Our conversation with Deb explored how the magazine got started, what Deb is doing with it today, Deb’s stitching and design work, and Vonna’s finishing contributions. It’s a good look behind-the-scenes of a terrific magazine created by a talented needleworker. We hope you enjoy the show.–Gary and Vonna

  1. Dear Gary,
Just wanted to say how glad I am to have discovered Fiber Talk. Thoroughly enjoy your show. I especially enjoy the camaraderie between you and Vonna. It makes me smile & laugh out loud. Makes the stress of a long workday seem a lot less stressful (thank you for that!). I just ordered the Sunset sampler & look forward to stitching it while listening to Fiber Talk. I have been cross-stitching for over 30 years & it is still my saving grace. Thank you again for all you do.
These are the Samplers that I would suggest:
Music Amongst The Trees by Rosewood Manor
One Dozen Quakers by Rosewood Manor
Halloween Quaker by Lila’s Studio (my favorite time of the year)

    1. Thanks for listening and your suggestions, and glad we can brighten your day. Enjoy that Sunset sampler. It’s a beauty.
      Gary
