Ruth Miller self portrait.Ruth Miller of Embroidered Realism joins us this week. Ruth’s life-sized embroidered artwork is breathtaking and the thought process behind it will give you a new appreciation for how a true artist expresses her thoughts with needle and thread. Ruth uses Paternayan wool yarn to bring a drawing to life. But the portrait is only part of the art. Every piece has a story behind it and Ruth tells that story with the various elements that surround and integrate with the portrait. After you listen to the podcast, we encourage you to visit Ruth’s website, watch the videos, and explore her art. It will be an uplifting and inspiring experience.–Beth and Gary
