Harriett Salt 1866 from Hands Across the Sea Samplers

This week it’s Video Wednesday. For your viewing enjoyment, and in preparation of the upcoming Claudia Dutcher: Bristol Orphanage Samplers event at Sassy Jacks Stitchery, we offer you two videos that Gary recorded in May 2019 with Nicola Parkman of Hands Across the Sea Samplers. The first one is Anna Tench 1811, one of the most-recent releases from HATS. There is a siren and a little twist in this video. The siren will annoy you. The twist will delight you. The second video is Harriett Salt 1866, a gorgeous Bristol Orphanage sampler. Not only is it a beautiful sampler, but the history behind it is fascinating. For more about Bristol Orphanage samplers, be sure to check in with us the first weekend in October when Vonna and Gary will do shows from Sassy Jacks during the Claudia Dutcher event.–Gary
