Fiber Talk Midweek Chat, 7-14-21

Take Wing from Joanna Kabanoff of Mojo Stitches. Kits from Sassy Jacks at wetalkfiber.com/wing.
It’s the day in the middle and we have some big announcements. Probably the biggest is that Fiber Talk will be attending and broadcasting live shows, interviews, and exhibit tours from the EGA Seminar in Sept. We’re very excited to be able to share the event with those who can’t attend. We also will be celebrating World Embroidery Day on July 30 with a three hour stitch-and-chat show from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Eastern on the YouTube channel. Join us and three designers for some fun needlework conversation. Friday night at 8:00 p.m. on the YouTube channel, Beth and Gary will be doing a live show to talk about our painted-canvas projects. Tonight, on the Fiber Talk Stitch Hour, also at 8:00 p.m. on the YouTube channel, we’ll learn how to do needle lace with Carrie Noess. In addition, Beth and Gary talk about experimenting with threads, substituting when threads don’t work out, whether perfection is really that important, where we find joy in stitching, and how much we like the Adjust-A-Frame stretcher bars. We hope you enjoy the show and can participate in our upcoming events.–Beth and Gary
