Fiber Talk with April McNee

The Embroiderers’ Guild NSW will feature an exhibit on Italian Needlework in August 2020.

April McNee, Exhibition and Gallery Coordinator at the Embroiderers’ Guild NSW, is our guest this week in a show sponsored by the Embroiderers Guild of America and Sassy Jacks Stitchery. This is April’s second time as a Fiber Talk guest and much has happened since we last spoke. The guild is offering a number of online programs and, after a significant shift in scheduling, an excellent schedule of exhibitions, starting in August with “Remembering Ricamo, an Exhibition of Italian Needlwork.” Many of the upcoming exhibitions will have catalogs that needleworkers who can’t visit the galleries will be able to purchase and thus experience the needle arts. The Embroiderers’ Guild NSW is a dynamic organization and there is now much that needleworkers from all parts of the world can experience. Enjoy our conversation with April McNee and visit the Guild website soon.–Gary
