Fiber Talk with Marie-Renee Otis

La Grande Arche by Marie Renee Otis.

Marie-Renee Otis joins us this week to talk about her creative and multi-faceted needle art. Renee has been connected to art her entire life and found her home with needle and thread. Along the way her art received considerable influence from her time in South Korea and Bangui in the Central African Republic. She works primarily on Penelope canvas because of the versatility it provides and incorporates a variety of techniques into her pieces. Her goal is to lift up her soul and those of others through her work and to participate in the beauty of our world. After you listen to the podcast, be sure to visit Marie-Renee’s gallery to enjoy her art.–Beth and Gary
