Fiber Talk Midweek Chat, 11-23-22

Avlea’s Aegean Sunrise design, stitched by Beth.
We hung in there and got to the middle of the week again. Not necessarily an accomplishment but it does give us a reason to talk about needlework. This week’s topics include New Year Day starts, WIPGO 2023 (or not), seasonal stitching, stash inventory (don’t do it), 10 stitches a day on a project for a year (hmmmm), the benefits of drawing (for Beth), and what promotes and kills creativity. Join us for the conversation and don’t miss our Sunday visit with Anna McDowell, master of Dorset buttons.–Beth and Gary

Fiber Talk Midweek Chat, 12-8-21

One of the hearts Cindy Baldwin stitched for the CyberPointers Hearts for Hospice program.

It’s the middle of the week and Cindy and Gary gathered to talk about needlework. This week’s topics include the CyberPointers Hearts for Hospice effort, stitching seasonal projects, maximizing stitching time, paperless needlework, and some speculation about what future needlework stores will look like and how they’ll function. Join us tonight for the Fiber Talk Stitch Hour at 8:00 p.m. Eastern on the Fiber Talk YouTube channel. Our guest will be Kathy Andrews of The Unbroken Thread. Kathy will share the needle art she created to help her cope during her battle with breast cancer.–Cindy and Gary
