Stephanie Bonneau, of Atelier Saint Clare, returns this week for a second conversation. Our first conversation with Stephanie was October 18. In that first conversation, we learned about Stephanie’s career and experiences in the needle arts. We did not have enough time to explore the many years she has spent working in the world of haute couture. This week we devote the entire show to learning how that world of fashion works and the roles a skilled embroiderer plays in creating some of the world’s top fashion pieces. We hope you enjoy the show and gain at least a small sense of what goes on behind the scenes of a top fashion house.–Gary

Stephanie Bonneau, of Atelier Saint Clare, is our guest this week. The show is sponsored by Sassy Jacks Stitchery and Needle in a Haystack. Stephanie is talented needlework designer and educator who has worked in a wide range of embroidery and textile environments, primarily in the world of haute couture. She has created fashion embroidery for many of the largest and most famous designers. All of her experiences have led her to owning her own studio in which she continues to serve the fashion industry while developing her own designs and teaching new needleworkers. This podcast will be followed by a second show in November in which we’ll explore in detail Stephanie’s experiences in the fashion industry.–Gary
