This week we talk with talented embroidery artist Taetia McEwen from Adelaide, Australia. The show is sponsored by the Embroiderers’ Guild of America. Taetia is a multi-faceted artist who enjoys creating designs that include woodland creatures, foliage, and fairies. She uses a variety of techniques including surface embroidery, stump work, and goldwork/couching. Taetia has contributed several projects to “Inspirations” magazine. Her latest project, Summerberry, appears in issue 119. Taetia will also be teaching three projects at the World Needlework Convention, Oct. 5 to 15 in the UK. We hope you enjoy our conversation and encourage you to visit her Etsy store to explore her many designs.–Beth and Gary
