  1. Just wanted to let you know there is another product on the market that I feel is exactly the same as Thread Heaven called Thread Magic. I purchased at Joann’s.

  2. Another comment…..Lori Brechlin has a gorgeous, very classy tray that clamps to your stitchy chair for all your “stuff”…if you go to her blog, Notforgotton Farm, or her Etsy shop of the same name you will see these. They are handmade by her husband and painted in many colors. It also comes in a couple widths to accomodate different chairs. Lori would also be a fabulous guest on your show. HEr yearly Gathering of Friends is coming right up….I’ve never been there but it looks like heaven!! Check her out!!

    1. Thanks. Christine will be happy to learn of this. Also, thanks for listening.

  3. After hearing your podcast, I posted on my blog that this is discontinued and then heard from others that the old packaging is discontinued, not the product. I had already panicked and ordered a few! Anxious to see their reply.

    1. You were right. It is over. Glad I ordered extra! Thanks.

  4. Some time ago you made a comment about a Fiber Talk retreat. I think you should do it! I’d love to take Gail Sirna’s Embroider class. I was trying to get our EGA chapter to do it, but we didn’t have enough interest. A suggested location for the retreat is Woodland Ridge Retreat in Menomonie, WI. A bit out of the way, but it looks like a fabulous facility. Website is http://woodlandridgeretreat.com/.

RE beeswax, the owner of our LNS told me that old beeswax could be refreshed by putting it in warm water. I haven’t tried it and don’t know how warm it needs to be, but I would guess it should be fairly warm.

    1. Sorry for the approval delay. Didn’t see the notification.
Thanks for the suggestions. I bought new beeswax but think I’ll try warming my old chunk. Nothing to lose. Thanks for listening.

  5. Early podcasts covered other needlework areas – e.g. knitting, crochet. Lately the focus has been primarily needlepoint and counted work. While listening is enjoyable, I would appreciate the variety – maybe some yarn spinners & dyers, quilting, weaving. I believe Christine is a quilter – can we get some shows on that?
    Thanks for the shows.

  6. I love my Millennium frames but did not order the stand. I purchased Judy O’Dell’s Just a Thought Needlework Design) floor stand as it is a gorgeous piece of wood that looks good in the living room. ( she also makes a lap stand). I stitch in my wing back chair that has an ottoman. I can sit up straight, or put my legs out or down and use the ottoman as a secondary table! Even though it’s comfy I still try yo follow the 20/20 rule. Look away every 20 minutes for 20 seconds at least 20 feet away. And also sitting for long periods is not good for you, I get up and move around, too!
