  1. Signing our needle art is really a part of the art. I always stitch the year and my initials in my pieces. One designer had suggested that I use the same colors as the background fabric, or place it in the design itself. I like the idea of putting a narrative with the piece for others to know what was going on while the piece was being stitched.
