Talented needlework designer Gay Ann Rogers is our guest this week. Known throughout the hobby for consistently delivering outstanding designs such as Eleanor of Aquitaine, Catherine the Great, the Downton Abbey geometric series, a number of striking original samplers, and the sophisticated Echoes I and II, Rogers has had a storied career in the needlework hobby. As you would expect, talking with her is as engaging as stitching her designs and we had a terrific and wide-ranging conversation. We hope you enjoy our conversation with Gay Ann Rogers and encourage you to watch for her upcoming “The Last Queen” design.–Gary and Christine

Oh it was lovely to finally “meet” Gay Ann – she’s got an amazing background! I have been very fortunate to see some of her wonderful pieces exhibited at the Woodlawn Needlework Show, especially her Queens – and they are gobsmacking!! (that means fantastic!)
Gary and Christine – if you fancy a little road trip why don’t you try a visit to Woodlawn when the Show is on – – eye candy!
