Fiber Talk with Dawn Cook Ronningen

Antique American Needlework Tools by Dawn Cook Ronningen

Antique American Needlework Tools gives us a fascinating tour of the vast range of devices used to make things with cloth and thread. Author Dawn Cook Ronningen joins us this week to talk about the book, her extensive collection of needlework tools, and her collecting addiction. The book is a must-have for anyone who uses needle and thread and enjoys the history of devices such as needles, thimbles, scissors, sewing rolls, hoops, fasteners, and measuring devices. Signed copies are available from Dawn’s Etsy store and the book can be purchased from many needlework stores.–Gary
