Fiber Talk Midweek Chat, 11-9-22

Our brief hiatus is over and we return for another Midweek Chat. This week’s topics include our WIPGO “efforts,” January 1 project starts, EGA Virtual Lectures, hand lotion, current projects, social media, subversive stitching, and other random topics. The end of the hiatus also means that we will be gathering for a Fiber Talk Stitch Hour tonight. We’ll be stitching, chatting, and doing some giveaways. Fiber Talk with Kirsten Doogue

This week we have the privilege of exploring Kirsten Doogue’s wide-ranging needlework career. Kirsten’s needlework involves a wide variety of techniques. These days her focus is on 17th Century English techniques, including crewel embroidery and working on her Thistle Threads casket. She’s a graduate of the Royal School of Needlework and shares some of her experiences learning needlework at that hallowed institution.
