It’s interesting, folks rave about Hardwicke Manor hoops, so I bought an 11″ square one (with the rounded corners) as a lighter weight alternative to 11″ Q-snaps. I can’t stand it! Even with the inner hoop wrapped, I simply cannot. get. my. fabric. tight. No matter what I do. I wonder if it has to do with the shape? Regardless, I won’t be buying any more. Like Beth, I like the Susan Bates plastic hoops you get at JoAnn!
I’m so glad you encouraged us to go back and listen to your Sunday interview with Jane Garrison (if I hadn’t already listened) prior to this coming Wednesday’s live show with Jane. There was so much background information that I know will make what I’ll be seeing more meaningful.
How are you and Beth going to justify buying painter’s threads? I couldn’t quite figure out the justification. (LOL)
