Fiber Talk Midweek Chat, 11-21-18

A teenager, offended by having his photo taken, shows off trendy embroidery embellishments on his shoe. This photo is the result of 47 images and considerable motherly begging.

Wednesday certainly is persistent. But we’re keeping up with another Midweek Chat. This time our topics include Michelle Garrette’s charity fund-raising efforts, the Hexefoos design by Kurdy Biggs, using the Good Reader app for stitching, and interest amongst our youth in decorating clothing with embroidery. Sunday’s guest: Alison Cole

It’s Wednesday and Gary is flying solo again. Topics are Bendy’s charity efforts, buying too many things, converting a hobby to a business, and regaining stitching motivation. It’s a stream of consciousness that will be food for thought or make you want to go watch Survivor. We’ll see. Sunday’s guest: Laura Mina, conservator at Winterthur.

Fiber Talk Midweek Chat, 11-7-18

Debbie Rowley’s Ablaze design.
Wednesday has arrived on schedule and we’re doing more of that needlework chit chat. This week it’s more about what to do with used charts, copyrights, and Trish Burr counterfeits (don’t buy them). We also talk about the tremendous charity work being done by Michelle “Bendy Stitchy” Garrette. This month she’s raising money for childhood apraxia research. Sunday’s guest: Susan O’Connor, editor, Inspirations magazine.
