Fiber Talk Midweek Chat, 10-20-21

This tree, filled with beaded ornaments, is the object of a fund-raising effort at the Attic for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

It’s two days before Friday and Jenifer and Gary decided to do some chatting. Our topics include Fiber Talk activities at the Attic; answering the burning question: What do men talk about when stitching?; a fund raiser at the Attic for the the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, and more on the confidence gap between males and females and whether the quest for perfection is a good thing. Sunday’s guest: Victoria Matthewson.–Jenifer and Gary

Fiber Talk Midweek Chat, 10-13-21

One of Beth’s stitching projects.

We have crested the weekly hill and Beth and Gary have met once again, this time to talk about the Sunday Shopping at the Attic event (2:00 p.m. Eastern, Oct. 17, Fiber Talk YouTube channel (Call the Attic and put your credit card on record to save time Sunday.)), announce the new “Samplers” publication, and making the most of our stitching time. How focused are we on finishing projects? Do unfinished projects bother us? What do we look for and get out of our stitching? Join us tonight at 8:00 p.m. Eastern when the Fiber Talk Stitch Hour guest will be Deb DeCrane. Deb will show us how to lace needlework projects. Don’t miss the show. Learning to lace projects will save you a bunch of framing money. Sunday’s guest: Tricia Nguyen.–Beth and Gary

Fiber Talk Quarantine Stitch Hour Tonight

Join us tonight at 8:00 p.m. Eastern for our Monday version of the Fiber Talk Quarantine Stitch Hour on our YouTube channel. If nothing else, you’ll learn whether Gary got all eight Rhodes/Jessica stitch combinations finished yesterday. Bring your stitching, favorite beverage, and pen and paper. There are rare occasions when we say something you’ll want to write down. Unlikely, but it could happen tonight. We’re supported tonight by Needle in a Haystack and The Attic. They’ll be happy to kit up one of the Luminous Fiber Arts charts we’ll be giving away, if you watch the show live and you’re a lucky winner. If you are not a lucky winner, they’ll be happy to handle your online purchases. We hope to see you tonight.
