The shortest day (Friday night) of the 2019 Nashville Market has come to an end. Designers were busy and I was only able to record two videos. The first was with Kathy Barrick in which we get to see her two new stockings in addition to other designs. The other was with Karen Kluba of Rosewood Manor. Karen is offering a number of small and large designs, including Flowers of the Seasons, Christmas Quilts, and the impressive 101 Alphabets.
Today’s show is definitely different and a bit of an experiment. Gary and Vonna are devoting the entire show to some of the new designs being offered at the Nashville Market, March 1 to 3. While you can certainly simply listen to the podcast and get plenty out of it, we’re accompanying this show with a slide show of some of the designs we like and want to talk about. To see those designs while we talk about them, go to the page for this show at wetalkfiber.com. If you click on the slide show on the podcast page, you’ll see a larger version. Arrows on the left and right of each photo allow you to move through the slideshow. We hope you enjoy our discussion and this different format. Please provide feedback about this format so we’ll have a sense of whether it works. Sunday’s guest: Mary Corbet.
We hope you enjoy this week’s conversation. We’re always looking for guests, so let us know if there is someone you’d like us to have on the show.

It’s Midweek Chat week and Beth and Gary connected through our respective internet providers to talk about eyeglasses and what we learned from Kelly Lea Teske, supporting Ukraine designer Ekaterina at stitchyprincess.etsy.com, selecting projects vs. being influenced by stitching friends, projects we have that need to be at the top of the pile, stitching in […]
It’s hard to stitch if you can’t see well and, for most of us, seeing well requires a good pair of glasses. This week, in a show sponsored by CyberPointers, Kelly Lea Teske returns to help us better understand how to make the most of our next visit to the eye doctor and the optician. […]
