Fiber Talk at 2019 Nashville Market I

The shortest day (Friday night) of the 2019 Nashville Market has come to an end. Designers were busy and I was only able to record two videos. The first was with Kathy Barrick in which we get to see her two new stockings in addition to other designs. The other was with Karen Kluba of Rosewood Manor. Karen is offering a number of small and large designs, including Flowers of the Seasons, Christmas Quilts, and the impressive 101 Alphabets.

  1. Thank you for these I hope you do more, I could not be at the show because of a ill husband, but love seeing all the different designs right away

  2. Gary, I listened to the program with Vonna on Wednesday – – Nashville Prep! – and of course it was fabulous – – and now I’ve just finished watching the two videos – WOW!!! Honestly I feel as if we’ve been snuck secretly into this Market with our own camera! I don’t know what the designers or the organizers realised when you got the OK to do this – – but as a stitcher, I cannot thank you enough for giving us all a wonderful preview of what appears to be a bumper year in gorgeous stitching! It’s so helpful to see things “in the flesh” – I’ve seen designs that I wouldn’t have even looked at before – fabulous finishing ideas – wonderful stitching palates – and I also feel as if I’ve been chatting myself with Karen Kubla and Kathy Barrick – something I will probabely never get the opportunity to do. I know that this is a huge amount of work for you – and quite a big deal for the designers who are so very busy – but I think you have done a lot to promote these fabulous desingers, their work and also the Nashville Market. I now have a long shopping list!
On behalf of stitchers everywhere, thank you for a job very well done.
