This week, in a show sponsored by Sassy Jacks Stitchery, we talk with Lori Pengelly of Pansy Patch Quilts and Stitchery. Lori is a needleworker, cross stitch designer, quilter, quilt designer, wool appliqué artist, combines needlework with her quilt designs, does hand quilting, owns a long-arm quilter and uses it for her own designs as well as offering it as a service, dyes threads, and is working with her daughter Emily to develop her own cross stitch designs. Somewhere in there, Lori finds time to eat and sleep, though that time is very limited. Our conversation touches on all of the things Lori does, along with her primitive color palette preferences and how she approaches new designs. Lori is also a strong supporter of local needlework stores and you can purchase her designs at your favorite needlework purveyor. Enjoy our conversation with Lori and be sure to watch for new designs coming in the the next few weeks.–Beth and Gary
