Fiber Talk with Jacob DeGraaf

Kindness & Fortitude Quaker Sampler by Jacob DeGraaf, Modern Folk Embroidery

Jacob DeGraaf of Modern Folk Embroidery is an extremely talented cross-stitch designer who has a unique eye for single-color creations. Vonna Pfeiffer joins me this week to learn about Jacob’s background and what goes into his design work. He’s also a talented music composer and we get to learn a little bit about that aspect of this needlework artist. Jacob is also offering a generous 20% discount to Fiber Talk listeners through the month of June. When you place an order through the Modern Folk Embroidery website, use the coupon code FIBRETALK (note the spelling) when you check out to receive 20% off of all full-priced items.–Gary

  1. Loved this show – what an interesting, thoughtful approach to stitching and needlework design in general – and his website is just gorgeous. His designs are so elegant – modern Sampler stitching at its’ very best!

  2. Thanks Gary! I had to buy it Angus Dei. Maybe a SAL with Vonna next Lent?
