Fiber Talk Midweek Chat, 7-3-19

Vonna is the county fair Reserve Grand Champion.

Wednesday has arrived once again, Sassy Jacks is sponsoring the show, and Vonna and Gary have gathered for another round of stitching chit chat. The list is long this week. It includes massive Fiber Talk audience growth, Fiber Talk needle minders, Sampler Sunday, what you can learn by entering competitions, the eve of the Queen’s Sampler start, the 2020 Agnus Dei SAL, and a variety of other items that likely have nothing to do with anything. We hope you enjoy the show. Sunday’s guests are Vickie LoPiccolo Jennett and Maegan Jennett of Needlework Press–Gary

  1. Love these podcasts! Thanks for all the effort to produce them. I’m on board for the Queen sampler since I love specialty stitches and drawn thread work. I did create a binder to combine Darlene’s chart and instructions with Linda’s stitch guide into an easier to use format. After 3-hole punching the pages, I reordered them to group each chart page with both sets of instructions for that section. I followed that with the stitch diagrams used in the section. Since multiple stitch diagrams were grouped on a page in an order that didn’t follow the chart, I made extra working copies, cut them apart and taped individual diagrams on separate pages so I could insert them in the binder with the corresponding chart section where they are used. I like having all the pieces for each section grouped together.
