This week that shop is the Fire Poppies Needlework Boutique and the owner, and our guest, is Susan Winter. In our conversation, we’ll answer your first question: Where did the Fire Poppies name come from? The shop will satisfy your favorite stitching technique from cross stitch to counted-canvas needlepoint, hardanger, and surface embroidery. We also talk about the day Susan decided to open a shop, her needlework interests (she’s a full-coverage fanatic), and the wide variety of activities that have already happened and are planned in the coming months (24-hr. pajama parties).
