I really appreciate both of you for all your hard work and I have enjoyed every video and podcast presented! Especially the Nashville Market!! Thanks for giving such thorough coverage of that event. However, you have contributed to my SABLE- (stash acquired beyond life expectancy)!
I also appreciate your efforts to share Market with us. I don’t cross stitch but I’m eyeing some of those new releases anyway! Is there any chance, Gary, that you could do the same sort of thing in Orlando for the needlepointers market?
Dear Sue Brown, I am so very pleased to have read your comment as we are “sisters at heart”, i.e. don’t do cross-stitch but do do needlepoint. Blessings to you. My needlepoint stores in Wisconsin have closed and I need to find “Vonna’s” sister at heart, who would be willing to finish some small, needlepoint ornaments, # 18 gauge, done with Medici, DMC wools. And blessings to everyone associated with Fiber Talk – you bring great joy into my life.
You all were great! This was my first time to watch your videos & sooo glad I found you! I will be watching & listening from now on! You all are fun!!!

Wednesday is a favorite because we get to talk about needlework. In this week’s show we remember Jean Lea, talk about a Valentine’s Day registration offer for the Fiber Talk Needle Arts retreat, discuss our attempts to stitch every day and what projects are in the rotation, look at some casket stitching, enjoy some Gay […]
The passing of Jean Lea will leave a huge void in the needlework world, particularly for those who love, reproduce, and stitch samplers. In addition to being a terrific person, Jean was widely known as the owner of The Attic, one of the few true destination needlework shops. Anyone who spent any time with her […]
The life of a military wife, living in upstate New York, and the pandemic catalyzed Caroline Gilman’s interest in needlepoint. Our conversation with Caroline is sponsored by Avlea Folk Embroidery and the Fiber Talk Needle Arts Weekend. During those hours in New York, Caroline found her home with painted-canvas needlepoint. It wasn’t long before she […]
We’re at the center of the week and Cindy and Gary have fired up the recording gear to talk about a new one-day option for the Fiber Talk retreat (wetalkfiber.com/weekend); request for questions for upcoming shows; Gary keeping up with Beth’s Stitch Every Day challenge; storing slate frames, scroll rods, and stretcher bars; marking stretcher […]
Imagine what your plain Jane sneakers would look like if they had a scene embroidered on the sides. Melissa Galbraith did just that and she wrote a book about it to help you turn your canvas shoes into works of art. Melissa is our guest this week and the show is sponsored by Sassy Jacks […]
