Fiber Talk with Diana Snyder

Our guest this week is Diana Snyder, an accomplished needleworker and needlework educator. Diana is an active member of the New England Region of the Embroiderers’ Guild of America, a Master Craftsman in Counted Thread work, and holds a teaching certificate for Counted Thread. She has held EGA chapter, region, and national offices, chaired the Master Craftsman and Teacher Certification committees, and was the EGA Director of Education. Her current focus is a new program entitled Teaching Our Youth Stitching (TOYS), a program designed to introduce needlework to young people. The program is available at no cost and can be used as outreach by guilds/chapters, an educational unit in schools, and as a program through libraries and other youth-oriented organizations.
