Fiber Talk Midweek Chat, 5-17-23

Avlea’s Aegean Sunrise getting attached to Beth’s jean jacket.
Wednesday has arrived and we’re chatting. Topics include our May 14 mental health and needlework show, EGA National Seminar registration changes, summer stitching time, traveling projects, the Gay Ann Rogers whitework sampler sale, stitching muscle memory, and our June 1, Not One More Thing attempt to go an entire year without buying new projects and other needlework items. Exceptions to the buying stoppage are purchases from the Sassy Jacks store opening, additional threads for an existing project, projects already ordered, 2024 projects that need to be purchased ahead of time, the Gay Ann Rogers whitework sampler sale, gifted items. Join us or watch from the sidelines to see when our willpower collapses. Note that there won’t be any new shows until the May 31 Midweek Chat.–Beth and Gary

  1. What if someone gives you a gift certificate to a shop? That doesn’t count as buying something, right?! Hmmm…
