Fiber Talk with Vonna Pfeiffer, The Twisted Stitcher

It’s always fun and educational to talk with Vonna Pfeiffer and we’re really glad to have her join us again. The framework for this week’s discussion is things Vonna has learned in her many years/hours of stitching. We didn’t talk about all of the items on her list but our conversation filled an hour with several tips and tricks that will help you with your stitching. Fiber Talk Midweek Chat, 1-10-18

Petite Very Velvet is one of Mary McGuire’s 10 Favorite Threads.
This week’s Midweek Chat is a new video Gary recorded with talented needlepointer Mary McGuire. In the video Gary and Mary discuss Mary’s 10 favorite threads and look at the effects they have in several needlepoint designs and painted canvases. Mary’s favorites are Petite Very Velvet, Impressions, Gloriana silks, Threadworx overdyed floss, Vineyard silk, Petite Sparkle Rays, DMC Floche, Watercolors and Wildflowers, DMC Perle Cotton, and Kreinik metallics.
