Fiber Talk with Susan Greening Davis

Rollups that Susan designs for storing finished or unfinished needlework.

Cross stitching and samplers are our subject this week with our guest, Susan Greening Davis. Susan is a needle artist/technician who has designed and taught for shops, guilds, and events for more than 40 years. She has studied in Denmark, England, Spain, Germany, Italy, and with the Danish masters who visited the United States.

Davis was the Education Chairman for the International Needlearts Retail Guild for four years and, in her career, has chaired several panels, lectures, and charitable events to promote needlearts education. She is a “hands on” teacher, who can teach left-and right-handed students. Susan was named DMC International Teacher of the Year.

Kim Young of Sassy Jacks Stitchery also joins us briefly to talk about their new Quaker Sampler Chapter Club.
