Doug Kreinik, owner of Kreinik Manufacturing, joins us this week to talk about the company, how it got started, and the world of manufacturing the braids, silks, and ribbons that we all love to use in our needlework activities. We also talk about the C.A.K.S. charity and even a bit about fly fishing. If you use Kreinik threads, you’ll enjoy learning the story behind them.–Gary and Christine

This was such a great listen. I now have a greater appreciation of Kreinik’s metallic ribbons and braids. It would be great if he could come back sometime and talk about the silks they also produce.
Thanks for listening and we’re glad you enjoyed the show. Making threads is a fascinating business. We’ll try to get Doug to return for another show in the near future.
