I think the concept of your show is great. The execution could use some improvement. I find it irritating when you go to interview people that often you really have not done your homework so as to ask more meaningful questions. You insult both your audience and your guests when you dawdle, hem and haw thru a show.
My second issue is your lack of knowledge on the history of the field.
Read some books please. I was stunned when you didn’t know about diaper patterns or that a Treasury of Patterns was one of the great breakthru reference books and can often cost over a $100 to find today.
Erica Wilson really launched needlework in the US and her videos, lectures and collection have been acquired by the Winterthur Museum.
Read the issues of the EGA and ANG
magazines from the 80’s (available in their archives) to get a sense of history and evolution so you can discuss items more thoroughly with your guests.
You have some great guests but often miss opportunities in your discussions.
