Fiber Talk with Vonna Pfeiffer II

From Sea to Shining Sea by Little House Needleworks, stitched by Vonna Pfeiffer.

We’re very pleased to have The Twisted Stitcher return for a second visit. While we enjoyed another great conversation with Vonna Pfeiffer about stitching in general and the projects she’s working on, our focus this week was on techniques and tips. We also talked at length about the pieces Vonna receives for finishing

With Thy Needle and Thread’s Flag Day design, stitched and finished by Vonna Pfeiffer.

and how what she sees can help you improve your stitching and deliver needlework that will provide finishers with the best opportunity to produce a perfect finished product. We also get an update on Vonna’s progress in her all-America room. Don’t miss this podcast with one of the hobby’s most talented stitchers and finishers.–Christine and Gary

  1. Such a great conversation with Vonna! I also enjoyed Nicole from Nicole’s Needlework. I would love to hear you chat with Jen from Jen’s Stiching Niche (flosstube!)

    1. Thanks for listening and we’re glad you enjoyed the shows. I’ll put Jen on the list.

      1. Gary when you get ahold of Jen you might include her stitching friend, Theresa, aka Shakespeare’s Peddler, I love these two… needles & pins oh my… love this format you & Christine have put together…

  2. Thank you so much for this podcast with Vonna Pfeiffer. She is spectacular and so inspiring. Her love of stitching and her happiness comes through. She helps me be not afraid of trying something new whether it be a large sampler, a new stitch, changing color or (maybe, one day) showing my work. I could listen to her all day. I so appreciate her sharing (and caring). Thankyou Vonna.

  4. I bought the same lap stand that Vonna has. LOVE it. it works great in my recliner. I stitch like Vonna does when I have great fabric. some of the cheaper fabric it doesn’t work very well.
