Fiber Talk Midweek Chat, 1-12-22

One of the panels of Jenifer’s Temari calendar ball.
Another Wednesday has arrived and Gary and Jenifer have gathered to talk about our WIPGO efforts, carrying threads, dyeing, stitching samplers on white linen, hanks of NPI silk at Sassy Jacks, and several other things that entered our minds during the conversation. Join us tonight for the Fiber Talk Stitch Hour when we enjoy the samplers stitched by Shelly Miland. We start at 8:00 p.m. Eastern on the Fiber Talk YouTube channel.–Jenifer and Gary

  1. I know it’s not a reproduction, but Cardinal Points sampler by Long Dog is designed to be done in beautiful bright colors on white linen.

  2. Janis Note of Noteworthy Needle designs for & teaches stitching on faux pumpkins. I took her class in 2019 & stitched a small simple design. She now has quite an assortment of designs for all size faux pumpkins. You must be careful to have the right kind of faux pumpkin. Not all types are suitable for drilling the holes. We used perle cotton and a tapestry needle. I can send you a couple photos if you’re interested.
