Fiber Talk with the Needle Arts Mystery Retreat Designers

One of the 2017 NAMR colorways.
One of the 2017 NAMR colorways.

This week we chat with all four of the designers who make the annual Needle Arts Mystery Retreat happen–Pat Hartman, Mary Knapp, Linda Reinmiller, and Debbie Rowley. These four talented ladies collaborate each year to design a piece that is stitched by the retreat attendees in any of four colorways. Our conversation explores how this 13-yr.-old event got started, how it works, the role each designer plays, what attendees learn, and what’s planned for 2018 in San Diego. It’s a fun conversation with four talented needlepoint designers.
