Fiber Talk Midweek Chat, 11-22-17

Christine and Gary are taking a holiday week off, so no new show today or this coming Sunday. But we thought new people might be interested in a very popular show from July and long-time listeners might enjoy listening again. This is the show in which Christine talks about her job and how her company helps people in the Jamaican rainforests generate income and build lives for themselves. Thanks to everyone for listening and Happy Thanksgiving to all of our U.S. listeners.–Christine and Gary

In the rainforests of Jamaica, far away from the beach resorts, Christine’s company is making a difference.

Christine returns from her travels and we get to learn about her difference-making job and the role her company plays helping castor-bean farmers in the rainforests of Jamaica. She also got a little beach time during the trip.–Gary and Christine

Listen to the podcast:

Christine did get a little beach time while in Jamaica.

  1. Thanks for sharing such an interesting and rewarding job with us!! You are preserving both traditions of culture and historical significance with what your company does and with stitching!!! I think they both are related and of course, very rewarding. Have you been able to observe any women stitching in Jamacia??
