How about the ANG president and EGA President?
For Christine’s Hoop cover, how about making one out of vinyl that is used on outside furniture or nylon(kite) fabric?? With an elastic drawstring type closure that would stretch/accomodate any size that you were working on. I am envisioning an elastic drawstring vinyl bag!!!

To protect large pieces I use quilting clips to hold the folded sections. Then I cover each side with a disposable shower cap. And one more over the hoop when not in use. Fits each of the four sides of a Q Snap.
For larger projects, I stitch holding my hoop just inside the opening of a pillowcase, on my lap. I can hold the hoop touching only the outside of pillow case, and the remainder of the fabric stays inside the pillowcase, clean and away from anything I may have spilled on my clothing. 😆
