  1. Really looking forward to hearing Lizzy Pye – I’ve just got her new goldwork book which is very informative and clear with lovely projects.

  2. Ooooh – have you thought of doing that little sampler on 60ct silk gauze? It would be just dinky! (in the British sense of “attractively small” 🙂 )
    I did a doll’s house tray cloth on it once and although it’s challenging, silk gauze actually has relatively large holes and is very stable, so it’s not as bad to stitch on as it sounds. Although if the stitching doesn’t fully cover the gauze you do have to be very careful about trailing threads…
