We’re back for another Wednesday chat. Christine is traveling for the paying job so Nicola Parkman of Hands Across the Sea Samplers was kind enough to fill in. In addition to samplers ;), we talk about bead storage, Yvette Stanton’s next book and recognition for her work, and Nicola’s upcoming travels to the U.S. It’s a fun conversation, so haul out your favorite project and start listening and stitching.–Gary and Christine

This is probably your best mid-week podcast yet! Thank you for sharing the information about Yvette’s new book. Enjoyed hearing from Nicola again, she is so knowledgeable. Looking forward to Sunday. Thank you for your podcasts!
awesom subjects. how about a cod cast for handicapped stitchers. i retaught myself to thread a needle and stictch. i started stitching in 1983, lost my dominate arm (left) in 1995 and tauht myself to thread a needle and stitch wit my one arm. there must be several people with physical disabilities that either retaught themselves or gave up.
just a thought…..
Robert,
Thanks for your comment. That’s an excellent idea for a show!

I so enjoyed listening to this while I stitched! I cannot imagine stitching a reversible sampler, wow! (but way back when I first started I couldn’t imagine stitching on linen… and here I am…)
I had to visit Sassy Jack’s website and order a couple of the Hands Across the Sea charts after today’s broadcast!! : )
And, just a suggestion…I wonder if Marsha Parker from the Scarlet Letter samplers would have time to join you sometime on fiber talk.
Thanks so much for the interesting chat and inspiration.
